COVID-19: November 4 times deadlier than October; 40 per cent increase in positivity, reveal figures

As per the data available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), 4,698 cases including 3,973 from Kashmir and 725 from Jammu were reported in the month of November in Jammu and Kashmir. Besides, 44 deaths which includes 35 from Kashmir and 09 deaths from Jammu divisions were reported in November, the figures reveal.

Pertinently, 2,819 cases and ten deaths were reported in the month of October in UT. So, 1,879 more cases were reported in the month of November in J&K as compared to October which means around 40 percent more cases were reported in the month of November compared to October.

Figures reveal that similarly, ten deaths were reported in J&K in the month of October while 44 deaths were reported in the month of November which signifies November reported more than four times more deaths as compared to October month.
