Lightning damages circuit of main power grid station in north Kashmir

A lightning on Monday morning struck at Main Power Grid Station Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, resulting in damage to a power circuit of the grid.

An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that the incident occurred in the wee hours of morning when a power circuit incurred damage after Main Power Grid Station Pattan was struck by lightning.

Regarding any chance of power supply getting disrupted due to the incident, the official said that the electricity would not be affected as another circuit is safe and working. (KDC)
