Showers expected at scattered places in Kashmir

According to the MeT department there could be light rainfall at scattered places in Kashmir in next 24 hours. Already the sun is playing hide and seek with clouds in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir indicating that light rain is a possibility now.

During the previous night winds and rains lashed many health resorts of Kashmir in South Kashmir triggering panic among the locals and bringing temperatures down.

According to the reports heavy rains were witnessed in Lidder valley of Pahalgam making the place more cool for the visiting tourists.

Similarly temperatures went down in other places of Kashmir after the rains and winds. In the past few days there have been scattered windstorms and rains being witnessed in different parts of Kashmir especially in the hilly areas.
