Asks for setting up Wellness Booth
SRINAGAR NOVEMBER 02:- The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad Tuesday visited Primary Health Centre Zewan in order to take stock of its functioning and healthcare facilities being provided to the patients.
During the visit, the DC inspected various units of the Health Centre including General Ward, Registration Counter, Diagnostic Units and other units.
On the occasion, the DC was apprised about the functioning of the Health Centre and the facilities being provided to the visiting patients.
The DC held interaction with the Staff and directed them to ensure better healthcare facilities for the patients. He also asked them to take necessary measures at the facility to maintain cleanliness and hygienic environment in and around the PHC.
The Dc also assured the management that all necessary support shall be provided to the PHC so that local people do not face any difficulty for emergency patient care.
He asked for immediate setting up of a Wellness Booth in the NTPHC in order to focus and take care of the well-being of citizens in different age cohorts.
Zonal Medical Officer Batmaloo, Dr Sameena and other concerned people accompanied the DC during his visit.
