Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti has shifted her base to her sister’s house located in Srinagar outskirts after on the directions of the government she vacated her Gupkar-based residence in Srinagar.
Jammu Kashmir Estates Department had sent a notice to Mehbooba Mufti asking her to vacate the posh palatial house in Gupkar.
Sources in PDP told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that Mehbooba Mufti vacated the Gupkar house and shifted to her sister’s house located in Beigh Colony Khimber Chatarhama area of Harwan Srinagar.
Notably, Estates Department has ordered several political stalwarts to vacate their government quarters.
Earlier, various Journalists and media houses in Srinagar were deprived of government accommodations. [KNT]
