Policeman guarding BJP leader dies of heart attack in south Kashmir

A policeman deployed at a guard post of a BJP leader in south Kashmir died after suffering from a heart attack.

Police sources told a local news agency, Kashmir News Trust (KNT), that a 54-year-old head constable was deployed at a BJP leader’s guard post at Galandar Pampore where he suffered a heart attack and was taken to SDH Pampore where doctors declared him dead.

The deceased policeman has been identified as Inder Kumar son of the late Paras Ram, a resident of Thata Pani Sunder Bani.

Police in this regard has registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
