Panchayats in focus

In order to implement different rural development schemes with tangible results, the government is trying to focus on panchayats for this purpose.

Recently Deputy Commissioner Srinagar held a review meeting about the implementation of these schemes with focus on panchayats.

During the review meeting the progress on preparation of ADP plan for the year 2023-24 was also discussed in threadbare.

While reviewing the Status of MGNREGA works, he was informed that against the total 227 works taken up during the current financial year as many as 215 works have been completed so far.

 With regard to implementation of MGNREGA Labour Budget Performance, he was informed that as many as 54487 man days were generated so far in all Blocks of the District by incurring expenditure of Rs 2.50 crore with 82.34% Performance against the Approved target.

He was informed that all 809 assets have been Geo Tagging under Phase-I, while 1298 assets out of 1429 assets have been Geo ged under Phase-11. It was also given out that 100 percent Adhaar seeding of total 3965 workers have been done.

He was apprised that out of 25 CSCs Tendered 9 CSCs have been completed while work on 16 CSCs is going on and will be completed by March 15.

He took the status of segregation sheds and was informed that out of allotted 18 segregation sheds work on 16 sheds is going on in full swing and shall be completed within the next 15 day.
