Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday seized 09 vehicles involved in illegal excavation and transportation of minerals in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
In a statement a spokesperson said during naka checking police seized 09 vehicles loaded with illegal sand and bolders at Khudwani bypass and also arrested 09 persons.
The statement reads an FIR No. 17/2023 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Qaimoh and investigation is in progress.
It reads persons are involved in this illegal practice must refrain from it, otherwise strict action under law will be initiated against them. (KNO)
