Government of Jammu and Kashmir has extended the last date for filing of claims and objection regarding special summary revision of electoral rolls.
In this connection recently Div Com Jammu instructed to upload the list of Booth Level Officers (BLOs), along with their contact numbers on the designated website and on the notice boards for public information.
He stressed the importance of complete revision of the special summary, including the addition of new voters and deletion of duplicate voters, within the extended date. He expressed hope that the exercise would be completed successfully, and all eligible voters would be enrolled.
He visited the polling station Supwal and enquired about the facilities available. He also interacted with locals present in the polling station. Abhishek Sharma, District Election Officer Samba, accompanied him.
He inspected the progress on Delhi Katra Expressway Project packages 15 & 16 falling in District Samba. He also reviewed the status of Land acquisition, besides compensation disbursement among the wonders.
The DC Samba was asked to expedite compensation disbursement process of the land acquired for Delhi Katra Expressway & expeditiously remove balance hindrances being faced by project Executing Agencies.
