School education

Recently LG Manoj Sinha said that his administration is trying to make the learning process, especially school education level, a joyful activity.

He said the School education department, school management and education planners, and domain experts should work together for quality education.  Our prime objective is to be at par with the best schools in the country in terms of well-equipped laboratories and faculties.

He directed the school education department to introduce the reform in both Jammu and Kashmir divisions on a pilot basis in selected schools.

He suggested the creation of a database of alumni from IIT and IIM, who would subsequently adopt students from different schools for handholding and guidance.
