There is a marked improvement in the education system after the implementation of NEP 2020.
Recently the secretary school education reviewed the functioning of education institutions in the Kashmir division.
He briefed the meeting about the arrangements being made by the department for the upcoming examinations, re-opening of schools and present scenario of functioning of the department.
He issued strict instructions to the concerned officials to ensure that all arrangements for reopening of schools are made efficiently besides preparations for upcoming examinations are done in time. He impressed upon all the Chief Education Officers to complete rationalization of teaching staff to ensure equitable pupil teacher ratio at par with NEP 2020 besides strengthening the Cluster System. He also emphasized on execution of pending works for completion at the earliest.
He directed the Chief Education Officers to expedite the process of holding DPC meetings at various levels and provide the latest vacancy position of all cadres at the earliest. He asked the officers to pay attention to resolving HR related issues and ensure that the staff do not have to face stagnation.
