The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Monday ordered a fresh school timings for all government and private schools across the Kashmir division from the 12th April 2024.
An order copy lying with the news agency CNS reads, “it is hereby ordered that news school timings for both Government and Recognized Private Schools in the Kashmir Division, with effect from April 12, 2024, shall be as under.”
DSEK in the order said new timings for the classwork of schools (government and recognized private institutions) falling within the Srinagar Municipal limits would be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and those falling outside Municipal limits of Srinagar district and other areas of Kashmir Province would be from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
“All the concerned institutions must strictly adhere to the given order/instructions and any deviation in this regard will be viewed seriously,” reads the order. (CNS)
