Authorities have suspended rail service and Internet in south kashmir on saturday morning following a gunfight at kilora village of shopian. Army spokesman has been quoted saying that five bodies of militants were recovered from the debris of encounter site. Clashes and protests were going on in the area till reports last reached here.
Government forces today started cordon and search operation in Behrampora Sopore after having credible inputs about the presence of militants in the village. Police said that when government forces were laying the cordon militants fired upon them triggering intense gunfight in the area. More details are awaited.
